The Kiss Bet is a sweet romance that is remarkably well-written that shows a realistic depiction of teenagers and their relationship dynamics. I’d watch a live adaptation if they made one (as long as they cast high-school-looking characters).
The Kiss Bet has been very predictable so far just like most romance stories and the creator has not shied away from showing genuine chemistry between the aforementioned pairs even when these characters were individually exploring relationships with other people. 🥲The Kiss Bet, Midnight Poppyland, Lore Olympus, Let's Play. these are all comics that really lost the plot around their 2nd season and have since been writing on fumes. And most of those fumes are from them just overcooking the shit out of the same tropes and cliches that we've already seen done to death 12894810 times before.
